One night in Arizona as we sat on the bed, Denise quietly dictated a sweet and poignant memo to the girls. Denise never abandoned her intention to heal but felt that it was essential to have a memorandum to pass along, if the need be. 

Below is the letter that was read publicly at the memorial celebration on Friday. 

Don’t be afraid.

Live in the heart and I will be there with you always. You girls are the most important thing in my whole world.

Take as much time for grieving as you need but when you can you can get on with it, be happy and live life to the fullest.

Always live with your highest and purest intention. Strive to do things beyond your best.

Be careful not to fall into the trap of being identified with your body.

When you think of me, let it be a happy memory and smile.
