Hey All

Thanks for all of the hard work back home. I'm holding up my end, with much assistance from Jason here. Dragged home two oxygen tanks, on wheels, with me last night so I could get my oxygen levels up. Wished I had had a gray haired wig, robe, and crinkled up slippers. Had to drag it all past business men, women, golfers, etc... all drinking and waiting around for their lobster dinners! Oh well, I figured I'd do it in stride so I just stared at the floor and dragged my tanks like they were the kids red wagons. Maybe I'll really freak them out when they see the tanks tonight and Jason following behind with 3 quarts of green juice, which by the way is delicious....nothing like the "Swamp Sludge Energy Soup" that I learned in Atlanta. That's how Jason describes it so that's the description that sticks.

Jason is reaping the benefits as well. While I'm sitting getting my treatments and fasting he's eating wonderful raw meals, that truly are delicious, and I think he is now running about 8 miles a day in 1 hour! My goal today is to make it to the car in the resort parking lot without riding in the golf cart to get me there. All kidding aside, it's been a whirlwind. I've started treatment immediately, had my first IPT yesterday. Pretty freaky since my blood sugar started at 64 and that's what they like to drop you to. So, they gave me a little insulin, shot 3 chemos in quickly, end with a tiny shot of steroids. That entire process took about 3 minutes. The beauty was I got to drink as much fresh apple juice as I wanted, along with nuts and oils to bring back up my blood sugar. I love you all so much and can't thank you enough for all of your help through this ordeal.

Love you,

Denise
